What is eXcite?
eXcite is a high interest, Christ-centered program for children 3 years old to 6th grade that motivates children and encourages them to learn about Jesus and His love for them. Through worship and activities that capture their attention, children experience God in their own way with lively music, engaging Bible stories, hand's on activities and quiet prayer time. Each child has the opportunity to grow spiritually at their own pace and in God's own timing. eXcite is offered at the 9:00 and the 10:30 service.
What will my child experience in eXcite?
Children 3-12 years old worship by singing together, reading Bible stories, and praying. After a worship time, children 3-6 years old and children in fifth and sixth grade go into classrooms for an engaging lesson. First to fourth grade children participate in a large group lesson that includes video, object lessons, drama, and more. After the large group lesson, they break into life groups with a leader and other children of the same gender and similar age. Through active learning, craft projects, games, science, prayer and discussion, each life group (6-10 children) applies the lesson learned in large group on a deeper level.

eXcite eXtreme for 5th and 6th grade
In addition to Sunday morning programs, children in 5th and 6th grade participate in a youth group twice a month on Sunday evenings. (Check out the calendar for dates). The purpose of youth group is to strengthen the relationships that the children have with each other and with God. At youth group, the children have a devotion time, pray together, play together, and have lots of fun!

What about kids younger than 3?
At the 9:00 and 10:30 service, children birth to three are invited into a warm, safe, loving environment while their parents worship. The nursery is located in the main hallway between the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.

Milestones A time set aside to learn basic elements of faith and develop a relationship with Jesus.

Easter Egg Hunt Over 1000 eggs are hidden in the area around the church for kids to find
Advent Event A family event at the start of Advent to prepare hearts for the Christmas Season.
Mission Projects Projects to get kids thinking about the world outside of our church.
Christmas Pageant Christmas musical performance put on by the children of our church.
