Our Goal
To excite children to learn more about Jesus and His love for them
eXcite A high interest, Christ centered program that motivates children and encourages them to learn about Jesus and His love for them. Children start the morning by experiencing worship in their own way with lively music, engaging Bible stories and quiet prayer time. After worship, children go to classrooms so that they can discuss and apply the lesson learned in children's worship on a deeper level. The children are divided into groups with similar aged children. Through active learning, craft projects, games science and videos, the lessons are reinforced at their own level in a personal and interesting way.
During the School year, eXcite is offered to children in grades prekindergarten to sixth grade on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 and the 10:30 service.
Milestones
Once a year we have a 4-week class for each grade level covering milestones. The goal behind milestones is that children will learn and understand the different basic elements of our faith. By the time they enter Junior High (7th grade), they will know all of the elements including: the Lord's Prayer, the Ten Commandments, the Names of the books of the Bible, the meaning of communion, the Apostle's Creed and the Fruits of the Spirit.
JoyZone
Joy Zone is offered during the summer for children in prekindergarten to second grade during both services. Through many different activities and worship time, the children will experience God and learn about Jesus.
Nursery
Nursery is available year round during the 9:00AM and 10:30AM service for children between birth and 2 years old. Please feel free to stop in and meet our Childcare Coordinator, Teresa Skokowski.
Where do I go?
The nursery is located in the fellowship hall wing. eXcite starts off in the children's worship area across from the nursery and then the children will go downstairs. The whole downstairs of the church is designed for the children of the church. I recommend taking a peek at all of our children's areas. There are two entrances to the downstairs, one in the fellowship hall wing and one next to the sanctuary. We would love to give you a tour.

Wednesday Night Alive Program
Every Wednesday night during the school year we offer different options for children. At 5:00PM we have bell choir for children in grades 4 through 6. Anyone is welcome to join in this great opportunity to praise Jesus with song! Then we have a choir for children in grades 1-6 at 6:30PM.
